And as she [Hannah] worshiped the Lord, she said "My heart exults in the Lord, my horn is exalted in my God. I have swallowed up my enemies; I rejoice in my victory. There is no Holy One like the Lord; there is no Rock like our God." 1 Samuel 2:1-2
Our spiritual journey through five years of infertility, one miscarriage and an answer to our prayers...
Wow, I need to use that in the future, it might work out better for me! :)
On Sunday, I asked Greg if he could go to the grocery store and pick up some pink peppermint ice cream because 1) it was Gaudete Sunday - hence the pink/err...I mean rose, and 2) he has not ONCE had to go get me a craving related item. I mean, not once this entire pregnancy. (There was the time I asked if we had any oreos in the house and he had just eaten the last of them, but I didn't need to have them at that moment. But he did go to the gas station and got more, along with orange juice. But that was on his own volition.) I digress though...Sunday's request for pink peppermint ice cream was a craving. Did Greg go? No and I didn't bring it up again. I think he forgot. So, I made due. I had some candy cane hershey kisses on hand and I smashed a few of them with our food mallet and put that on top of my ice cream. Necessity is the mother of invention, right?
haha! little did he know he'd make the blog anyway :)
