WE DID IT!!!
CD1 was supposed to start on Holy Thursday. I think I went to the restroom 500 times that day just waiting to see AF...but she never came. After the Liturgy (which was beautiful) and the Stripping of the Altar, DH and I went to eat. I was starving! I told him that CD1 didn't start yet and that if she didn't come by morning, I was going to take a HPT. After dinner, I went to the Altar of Repose, praying with the Lord at the beginning of His Passion, "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." Friday morning...BFP! Praise God!
Given it was Good Friday, I knew I wouldn't be able to make it to get my blood drawn until Monday, so all I could do is pray and pray! I took the advice given to JBTC recently by fellow bloggers; don't let the anxiety take over for right now - we are pregnant! Enjoy it! They are soo right, and it was soo good for her to blog about it so I can read it! Yesterday I went and had my Beta HCG: 780! Thank You Jesus! I was praying it was over 101, which was the number from our first pregnancy. I will take a repeat test tomorrow or Thursday. Please pray the number keeps doubling... My progesterone came in at 15.6 which is midzone (decent), but I started PIO shots yesterday regardless (per Dr. H of course).
At this point, I am putting myself on a pseudo-bedrest. I am trying to keep my mind from over-analyzing everything, doing baby math, and thinking bad thoughts. All I want to do is let this baby grow! Keep my feet up, relax, eat healthy and stay positive! It is amazing how quick the mind can turn dark and fearful! But I'm determined to not be in that place of doubt for very long. I have to trust in the Lord, control what I can, and allow myself to be at peace. Currently my breasts are sore, and I am very tired, but those are the only symptoms I have. I can't wait to experience morning sickness...as weird as it sounds, I think I will feel better when that happens to me. That, and when we hear/see the heartbeat, of which we don't have a date scheduled yet, but Dr. H wants it at 6 1/2 weeks. Given I'm not sure when I ovulated, I am going with the second week of May, early. Oh, I can't wait!
Queen of Heaven

V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
R. For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.
Let us pray. O God, who gave joy to the world through the resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant we beseech Thee, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may obtain the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Regina caeli

Oremus. Amen.

ReplyDeleteI almost fell over reading this and almost also shouted form the rooftops!!
ReplyDeleteI was your prayer buddy during Lent and could not be happier reading this!! I just posted in my blog what I did during the 40 days .
I specially prayed to Our Lady of Guadalupe for your intentions and will continue to do so throughout your pregnancy. Once the baby is born I will go and give thanks at Her Basilica here in Mexico.
Remember She is with you!
She said some amazing words in Her apparitions:
Am I not here, I, who am your Mother? Are you not under my
shadow and protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the
hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need anything more? Let
nothing else worry you, disturb you”
So do not worry about anything. She is with you!
God bless you!
Wow! Congrats!!
