Fallen Off The Face Of The Earth

That is what it feels like since I haven't been on the computer but a minute here or there over the past several weeks. I'm not complaining....I kind of like it. Don't tell my husband though. I just asked him to but a new battery for my laptop. It died two weeks ago, so the window to my online blog soul has been caput. I am happy to report that my IRL soul is does not reflect the same broken-ness...today.

The m/c update: I am better, hormonally stable, that is (I can see my husband chuckling as he reads that!). I'm not crying every day or every other day anymore, even though I think about Catherine Grace several times daily. I'm not counting days, I'm not telling myself what "week" I would have been if I didn't m/c. What I am doing is waiting for CD1. And wondering if all the stabbing, sharp pains I'm occasionally feeling is a return of the alien-endo growing in my womb again. Fortunately, I don't feel it that often, so I purposely forget about it until I feel it again. I'll think about that more later in the future. Like sometime after CD1 - if it ever comes.

I'm sure it will arrive soon, like this weekend while I am Marching For Life in D.C.. I'm going with a group from church, my first pro-life march ever. But with that comes the pressure to pack everything into a carry on suitcase. I'm a horrible packer! My current meaningless distraction: What kind of shoes should I take for the march? Someone said to me, "There was a time when the street was real slushy. Take old-lady boots." All my boots have heels. I'd have to go buy some old-lady boots! Hoo-hum, right. Distraction is a good thing.
