Sorry Jessica

Today is Peak + 7. Well, I think it is...I hope it is...anyway. One of my problems with PCOD is that it is hard for me to figure out when I peak. Sometimes it's clear as day, sometimes it's clear as mud. But I make my best guess and go get my blood drawn on what I think is "most likely" to be P+7. Today as I walked down the hallway to get my blood drawn, I thought to myself, "one day I will be pregnant when I come here". I guess I am a little preoccupied.

As I'm in the waiting room, I decide to read a magazine. My options: "Lu.cky" magazine or "Fa.mily F.un". I used to subscribe to FF years ago...when I thought having a family would be easy. And given how I almost cried when we saw a dad and his son at a Fant.asy League Draft at Buff.alo Wild Wings the other day, I decided to reach for Lucky. Are these people serious? J. Sim.pson, "I like skinny jeans, but I wear them a bit baggy and lower on my hips and roll them up at the bottom". Really Jessica? Or the designer that answered the question, "What are you going to buy first for fall?" with "Darp.hin's Ta.ngerine Aro.matic Care Oil, which will be perfect for the chilly Parisian temperatures."  Don't they know that I'm infertile and have to think about other things to move my mind from thinking about babies - and this is what they give me to read? Can you be a little more compassionate to my needs, Jessica Si.mpson? I wear my skinny jeans a bit baggy. Come on! My ovaries don't work! Unless that tangerine aromatic care oil will help with identifying PTM - I don't care. Can you give me something real to help me forget that I am barren, please?
