Big day today - peak plus seven...I think. Getting poked with needles is an everyday occurance, but still I don't like getting blood drawn. It freaks me out. But today is not just any regular blood draw. Oh no! I will have to convince the lab person to give me my blood so I can UPS it to Omaha. Sounds weird, right? I don't know if I'll be able to do this in Rochelle, last time I had to go up to Rockford and the nice lab women helped me package up my blood. I am going to try to stay in Rochelle to do this but I'm guessing it won't happen here. That is my first battle.
My second: DRY ICE! Where in the world to people get dry ice around here? It seems that the closest place to buy some is in St. Charles! If Rochelle will give me my blood, I will have to go to St. Charles to get the dry ice and mail it from there. But if Rochelle will not give me my blood, I will have to go to Rockford where the girls may help me ship my blood out. If they don't help, I will then have to drive from Rockford to St. Charles...Uggg!!!
So why all the hassle? To see if the OWR had any effect on my progesterone and estrogen. My P+7 ratio was greater than 10 before the surgery. It needs to be less than 5. This is my first real test post op and I am hoping that there is some kind of positive result that will come from all my hard work. If things go well, really well, I will get a decent ratio reading and a visit from Aunt Flo on Monday next week. I know, I know...that sounds like a silly thing to wish for. But if I'm not PG, then I want AF ASAP. Time's awastin'!
